Dr Lisa J. Orchard
UX Researcher
Specialising in Cyberpsychology
Hi, I’m Lisa! I'm a UX Researcher with a specialist interest in cyberpsychology, exploring how digital technologies shape and drives human behaviour.

My PhD focused on social media users and the individual differences that influence platform preferences. Today, I apply that academic expertise to UX research, ensuring user needs are understood and addressed in a rigorous, ethical way.

I like to keep busy, and spend a lot of time volunteering. I serve as Co-Chair of the Cyberpsychology Section at the British Psychological Society, helping advance conversations around technology and psychology. Furthermore, I am a trained breastfeeding peer supporter, providing a listening ear for those who may need it.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mum to two boys—Noah and Riley. I love crafting (especially scrapbooking and sewing), playing, and more specifically winning, board games, and getting lost in a good book!
